Collection: Lampinen (Fin)
The Lampinen Suksitehdas (ski factory) was based in Porvoo, Finland, about half an hour northeast of Helsinki. Emil Lampinen began making skis in the early 1900s, and by the late 1960s Lampinen was one of the largest ski producers in Finland. As an interesting sidenote, prior to closure the Lampinen factory was making ski shafts for the now-ubiquitous Marwe rollerski.
