All right. Let's be honest - despite all the hoo-ha about Norwegian skis, it's really the Finns who made the best skis back in the day. They may have sucked at marketing, which is why not a lot of their skis left the country, but the Finns made skis that were sought by racers worldwide (unless you were Norwegian or Swedish!). I heard firsthand the tale of a top US racer who loved his Finnish skis so much that when the US Ski Team signed a deal with a Norwegian maker, he got someone to make his beloved Suomen Suksi LOOK like the Norwegian brand JUST so he could keep using them.
Well these aren't top-of-the-line racers - you actually don't want those because they are so fragile that they snap in two if you look at them funny - but a step below; Kilpa means "racing". And you don't need a name littered with double vowels and umlauted letters either - you're perfect they way you are.
