Classic Nordic touring binding from Norway. Rear-clamp "Tempo" model, which contrasts to the more common front clamp Kahandar. Both types of bindings had the benefit of only needing a groove on the back of the boot heel (and sometimes even that wasn't necessary) to function. People often had one pair of winter boots that they wore all day - for commuting, in the workshop, etc. And they had to work in skis!
This example has never been used. We estimate that due to the condition and the fact that it is a beautiful brushed aluminum, it is from the 1960s. Don't see a size marking, though clamp pieces say "No. 1". Appear to be on the smaller side.
