A pair of vintage ski ties from Norway! Can't buy these any more. Before EVERYTHING was made from plastic, items such as this were made from materials such as cotton and metal. These straps are the most common you you would have seen, in traditional Norwegian colors. The cam buckles are branded "Norrøna", which is a Norge-based outdoor store that has been in business for almost 100 years. The straps themselves have the name of the J.L. Furuseth sporting goods store, which operated in Drammen (slightly down and to the left from Oslo) from the 1930s until 1990. Approx 28cm in length.
