Wow, how strange. A belting company selling ski bindings. What the hey? Wait, what's a belting company? Well, since Moose comes from a long line of belting industry royalty, I will explain. In the early industrial age, belting companies made leather belts for machinery. And they made a lot of them. These companies were all over the place. But, when synthetic belting started to take over, with its extended life, these companies had to find something else to do with all that leather. Why not ski bindings??
That's apparently one of the things this Warren Belting Company place did. From Worcester, MA, pronounced "woohster" if you're not from around there or "woohstah" if you are. These bindings were a very practical, low-end style - really any boot would do as long as the leather strap would fit around the heel.
This example is unused, with all of the original screws and debris. "Pathfinder" model. Tidy it up or leave it as is, it's a timepiece!!
