Hirvi (Finnish for moose) was a Finnish sportswear maker that began operations in the 1950s. The company focused on running shoes, which were very popular, but also made ski boots. This pair is from the 1960s and is all-leather with the exception of the heel. They are well-broken in, so will fit your feet like a slipper. They were used in standard 3-pin bindings, but if you want to use them with those old wood skis with 4-pin bindings that you got from Uncle Eero, go right ahead.
We have taken great care to clean and condition the leather so the boots will be ready to use as soon as they arrive. Light scuffs and scratches may be noticed, which is normal for an item of this age.
