Never worn - new old stock - meaning new, but OLD! Jette was a brand created and marketed by the Gjøvik Skofabrikk ("shoe factory") in Gjøvik, Norway. All Norwegian champions were in Jette boots in the 60's and early 70's.
This pair has LEATHER uppers, but the soles are rubber, which provides better grip in snow and ice. PLUS the heel has the groove for Kandahar and Tempo bindings (cable-style). Truly the last boots you will need to buy! The "Trim" model is the same as a "Tur Langrenn", so a boot for all uses.
WARNING!!! These boots still have that "white junk" coating on the tongue and cuff. This stuff is really gross and sticks to everything. It was a waterproof coating that didn't age well. Good news is that with a stiff plastic brush or soft wire brush it can be removed. If requested, the pros at Skifabrikk can do this for you, since we are sadly very experienced doing this. However, the boots will be shipped with no modifications, unless requested, because there may be someone out there who wants them in original condition (a collector for instance)
Last but not least - the original box! Great time capsule.
