No, Jordan Marsh didn't make snowshoes. This pair was likely "white labeled" for the company by one of the many snowshoe makers in Maine.
Jordan Marsh (pronounced "Jawdan Mahsh" if you're from the Boston area) was a department store that operated in New England and Florida from 1841 to 1996. Jordan Marsh has claimed to be the originator of the concept of the department store - a large, multi-level retail business where consumers could acquire a wide variety of goods, from housewares to clothing to hardware and, sporting goods. Slapping your brand on a pair of snowshoes manufactured for you elsewhere was a good way to advertise in the cold winter months.
This Huron/Maine style of shoes is likely close to 100 years old, based on the construction, condition, and our knowledge that the original owner was the grandmother of a Skifabrikk staffer, who isn't so young himself. The snowshoes have a crack in the white ash frame towards the tip of one of the shoes, which would need repair if they were to be used again.
