Herman "Jack Rabbit" Johannsen was born Norway, but emigrated to Canada by way of the USA. He lived a long time, hence the nickname. He also did a lot of skiing. Moose himself remembers hearing tales of Jack Rabbit's accomplishments, when Moose was a very young calf. Jack Rabbit was that famous.
Don't be surprised when you open the can - it's supposed to have the consistency of water. May be shipped with lid clips to avoid leakage.
Note "froid" just means that it is air dry pine tar; it doesn't require heat to apply.
