Base refinishing - tar - wax

This service involves a full stripping of bases of the skis of old wax and tar; scraping smooth with a metal scraper, sanding, buffing, and re-tarring.  We will finish with a base wax (polar/arctic/green).  Bickmore's equine pine tar will be used; classic Swix or Bergendahls can be used for an extra fee.

NOTE: not all dings and scratches can be removed.  Missing edge chunks usually have to stay that way.  We will try to set expectations with the customer once the skis are received and inspected.
