I CAN'T BELIEVE these skis are so cheap! Beautiful pair of Eggen 215cm "Type 2" (hickory/ligno) racing skis from the early 70s. These long boys are great for some in-track sliding as well as frolicking through soft powder.
Eggen skis were a product of the Engerdal Skifabrikk in eastern Norway. The skis were named in honor of Gjermund Eggen, hero of the 1966 Nordic World Championships in Oslo. He helped with design and marketing following his racing career.
Tops and bottoms show some wear, but Skifabrikk techs have used time-honored techniques to restore the bases to racing condition.
