Landsem was the unquestioned leading manufacturer of racing skis in the 60s and 70s - champions from from Gjermund Eggen to Oddvar Brå won on Landsems.  Even American Bill Koch used Landsem skis right before the switch to fiberglass.

This pair is a survivor!  Of races.  Proof is the race markings on the tip.  The former owner raced the biathlon circuit in Norway.  Yes, there are weekly biathlon races for mortals in Norway.  It's that kind of place.

Not sure if these are the balsa "lett" model, because rarely do Landsem decals survive.   But the bases have been refinished and tarred by Skifabrikk, using techniques developed in the heyday of wood ski racing - 1960-1974.  Skifabrikk ski techs have over 50 years of experience skiing, racing, and preparing cross-country skis, both wood and fiberglass.

These skis will make an excellent addition to your collection!

See our other Landsem items in the t-shirts and drinking glasses sections!!!!

Bindings will be removed prior to shipment of the skis to prevent damage to the bases.
