Here in New England we call this a BAHgain, and a bargain it is.  Beautiful pair of 210 hickory/ligno Eggen racing skis from the early 1970s.  Tops have been cleaned and protected with a shiny coat of urethane.  You want camber?  I got your camber RIGHT HERE!!!  Springy skis with race-ready restored bases.

Eggen skis were a product of the Engerdal Skifabrikk in eastern Norway.  The skis were named in honor of Gjermund Eggen, hero of the 1966 Nordic World Championships in Oslo.  He helped with design and marketing following his racing career.  Speaking of the latter, if you want a fun glimpse of what top-level cross-country ski racing was like in the mid 1960s, take a look at this short vid, featuring Mr. Eggen, en route to "gull" in the 50km event.  If you think that a tad over 3 hours is a leisurely pace (Pål Goldberg won the 50km classic at Planica this year in 2:01), remember these people were on wood boards with bamboo poles!
