HIGHLY desirable birch base, hickory edge PELTONEN Erikoiskilpa ("Special Racing") cross-country skis. So why are these in the BARGAIN BIN!!!? Because one of the tails has been snapped (but skillfully repaired). The story is that Moose went to pick these skis up, deep in the woods of Finland, and the nice seller handed them to him and said "oh sorry one of them is broken". Gee that would have been good to know, but who knows if Moose protested, they may not have found his antlers until spring!!!
Aside from that, the decals on these skis are in good shape, and the paint has been refreshed. They look great. Fancy aluminium 4-pin racing bindings give the skis a proper period look.
