Well Russia isn't the most popular member of the world community right now, but these skis aren't from there! Anyone who paid attention in history class will know that the USSR was more than Russia, it included a lot of other countries! Like Estonia, where these skis are from. Surprisingly, Pärnu is on the coast, away from the ski region in the southeast.
Birch bases are highly sought after by vintage ski racers, especially for use in cold conditions. These birch base, hickory edge skis have had the bases restored and tops immaculately cleaned. Also included are the Canadian Pinso-style plastic 3 pin bindings. Surprisingly, plastic is popular in Canada for vintage nordic ski bindings.
NOTE: The bindings will be removed prior to shipment of the skis to prevent damage to the bases. If the buyer does not want the bindings, Skifabrikk will reduce the price of the skis by $10.
