You really CAN determine within a couple of years when most Järvinen skis were made, because part of their graphics included bragging about all the medals that their skis had won in the Olympics (Olympia) and world championships (maailman-mestaruus). This 95/102 pair hails from 1966-68. All the cool decals are fresh-from-the-factory intact. The numbers are matching, which is surprisingly not as easy as you think. Wood skis tend to break! "Barely there" Karhu Olympic 4-pin bindings.
We didn't have to do much to clean these up - wipe down the tops and scrub/light sand the bases. While these skis have been used, it's clear that they never have had pine tar applied. That isn't uncommon in very cold climates where you're not too worried about water penetrating the bases.
