"Dette er en original Splitkeinski." Splitkein literally means "split cane" in Norwegian, and these skis are an evolution of the original laminated wood skis from the 1930s. This example, from the mid-1960s (a badge at the bottom of the ski celebrates the brand's success at the 1964 winter Olympics), is in great condition, with a few scuffs that are normal for a ski of its age. The bases have been refinished and tarred by the experts at Skifabrikk. The 79mm Rottefella Fenix bindings will be removed for shipping, to protect the surface of the skis.
