In Finnish, a tunturi is a fell, or a mountain without a dramatic summit.  That's how they roll up in Lapland.  These skis are from the 1960s, and have been lovingly restored by the all-stars at Skifabrikk.  They have been tested in Finland's harsh winter conditions, and demonstrated their sisu while emerging nearly unscathed.

Now they are ready for their next adventure.  The paint on the tops has been refreshed, but not at the expense of the beautiful original logos.  The bases are in great shape and the edges are intact.  Rear-clamp "NATO"-style bindings preferred by the military allow these skis to be used with a wide range of footwear.
