How we doin' out there SWEDEN!!! Us here at Skifabrikk don't actually hate Sweden or Swedish ski stuff. The simple fact is, we've never actually been there. Ergo, our shop doesn't have a lot of Swedish stuff. These nearly unused skis were picked up in the heart of Oslo; the story was that the seller's dad lived on the Swedish border with Norway, and apparently in that location there was a fluid trade in skis between the two countries.
These skis are a step below the (world-famous to vintage Nordic ski nerds) S-55-J "Six-Je Elit" superlight skis that won a ton of medals in the 50s and 60s. That said, these are not 2 by 4s; they weigh in at a svelte 2025gms with bindings. Plus, the bases appear to be almost un-skied - they came with no wax on them and the unpolished fresh-from-the-factory look. So they're ready to go. Hickory base and edges, and a very nice pair of 71mm Rottefella Gull 2-piece bindings to keep the skis firmly attached to your feet (boots recommended).
