Beautiful pair of Gresvig Splitkein "E4" model wood cross-country skis. Rare underside tip branding! (see pic) Gresvig got access to the Ullevoldsæter/Østbye patent after Peter Østbye had to surrender his ownership (including the Splitkein plant) as punishment for being a Nazi sympathizer during the Second World War.
These skis feature a classic pair of Gresvig Kahdahar bindings, which was the de facto ski touring binding until the mid 1960s. The waterslide decals are largely unblemished, except on the tip. The bases have been cleaned, smoothed, and tarred, and are ready for the snow!
