If you told us that these skis just popped out of the factory in Hartola, we might believe it. Lightly used, but with RACE PEDIGREE. These are WORLD LOPPET winners. And we have the race stickers to prove it. Our dear leader "Moose" steered these rockets to victory in last year's highly competitive (21 entrants!!) Tartu Vintage in Estonia.
Now after much hand-wringing, Moose is ready to pass these skis onto their next caregiver. They were manufactured in the mid 1970s after the end of the glorious run wood skis had in high-level nordic skiing competition. The skis are incredibly light, and possess a "polyhart" base, which we are not quite sure the composition of, but it appears to be a very hydrophobic varnish that can still hold wax - for at least 20km as Moose found out last March. Ready to go with holes drilled for modern NNN bindings.
