Beautiful pair of Landsem of Norway wood cross-country racing skis. Landsem was the unquestioned leading manufacturer of racing skis in the 60s and 70s - champions from from Gjermund Eggen to Oddvar Brå won on Landsems. Even American Bill Koch used Landsem skis right before the switch to fiberglass occurred.
This pair is well-preserved, with minimal scratches and dings. The hickory/lignostone (compressed, epoxy-infused beech used on edges) bases are extremely durable. The bases have been refinished and tarred by Skifabrikk, using techniques developed in the heyday of wood ski racing - 1960-1974. Skifabrikk ski techs have over 50 years of experience skiing, racing, and preparing cross-country skis, both wood and fiberglass.
These skis will make an excellent addition to your collection!

NOTE: 79mm 3-pin bindings included. They may be removed prior to shipment of the skis to prevent damage to the bases.
