Did I say light? Yes, these skis are light. At approximately 830gm per ski, with bindings, modern racing skis are two-by-fours in comparison. The "Erikoiskilpa" model was the top-of-the-line ski from Järvinen. From their markings, we have narrowed the date of production from 1967-70. The glory days of wood!
Of course, with skis this age, there are a couple of owies, or "patina" as we call it in the trade. At one point the tip of one of the skis was snapped, but that has been repaired. Bones heal stronger, right? Also, a scratch in the bottom of one of the skis was smoothed over with wood filler (see pic).
NOTE: The original 4-pin bindings will be removed prior to shipment of the skis to prevent damage to the bases. If the buyer does not want the bindings, Skifabrikk will reduce the price of the skis by $10.
