The Gjøvik Skifabrikk in Norway produced wooden skis for nearly 50 years. The factory marketed most of their product under the name "Toppen", which means "the top" in Norwegian. However, they also sold skis under the "Populær" name for reasons that I do not know. These are Toppens in everything but name.
Beautifully preserved. All the logos are intact and there are few surface scratches. There is a ding on the edge of one of the skis, which you can see in the pictures. The bases are in great shape and have a new coat of pine tar burned in. Ready to hit the trails!!! Classic Kandahar cable bindings.
