This is a lovely pair of early 1970s wood touring skis from Karhu. "Lumi" is the word for snow in Finnish, and these skis will be perfect for gliding on snow or hanging on your wall. The bindings are from Sweden (*gasp*) but are in great condition. A minor nick on the tip of one of the skis has been skillfully repaired and is barely noticeable. See pics.
The bases of the skis have been reconditioned by the experts at Skifabrikk, using traditional techniques. A solid coating of pine tar has been burned in to protect the bases from the elements.
