Beautiful pair of restored Eggen 205cm hickory base racing skis from the early 70s.  Very stiff; for a light skier with a strong kick these skis will FLY.

Eggen skis were a product of the Engerdal Skifabrikk in eastern Norway.  The skis were named in honor of Gjermund Eggen, hero of the 1966 Nordic World Championships in Oslo.  He helped with design and marketing following his racing career.

The tops of these skis have been touched up and glossed for a near fresh-from-the-factory look.  The bases have been stripped and sanded, with a fresh coat of pine tar applied.  The skis have some wear, especially the tails, which look like they spent some unwanted time in snow or on a damp floor.  75mm Troll bindings complete the package!
