You want camber? I got your camber RIGHT HERE!!! Beautiful pair of restored Eggen 195cm "Type 2" (hickory/ligno) racing skis from the early 70s. Very stiff; for a light skier with a strong kick these skis will FLY.

Eggen skis were a product of the Engerdal Skifabrikk in eastern Norway. The skis were named in honor of Gjermund Eggen, hero of the 1966 Nordic World Championships in Oslo. He helped with design and marketing following his racing career. Speaking of the latter, if you want a fun glimpse of what top-level cross-country ski racing was like in the mid 1960s, take a look at this short vid, featuring Mr. Eggen, en route to "gull" in the 50km event. If you think that a tad over 3 hours is a leisurely pace (Pål Goldberg won the 50km classic at Planica this year in 2:01), remember these people were on wood boards with bamboo poles!

NOTES: Tops and bottoms show some wear, but Skifabrikk techs have used time-honored techniques to restore the bases to racing condition. Check out the original shading underfoot that was covered by the plastic foot plate for many years!! No bindings included, but if you reach out, "we know people" ;-)
