Askjem skis were made in a factory in Stokke, about 2 hours southwest of Oslo. This pair of light touring skis - "tur-langrenn" - has been lovingly restored by the pros at Skifabrikk. Despite this they still show their age, with old torch burn marks on the base (called "patina" in the trade) and a mysterious "K" mark on each ski which was likely used as a waxing guide. Camber to the extreme! These are the stiffest skis you're going to come across, and will be great for in-track sliding. Classic Rottefella "Fenix" 71mm bindings and Geze "pop up" heel plates complete the package.
