Bonna skis were some of the most popular wood skis sold in America during the 1960s and 1970s.  The 1800 was the all-purpose ski that is still a favorite of enthusiasts today.  The 2000 was a slightly lighter version, and this model, the 2400, was a wide, off track ski. The gold lettering features a mid-century font that puts a time stamp on these skis.

Note that like many skis, the binding screws get frozen.  The top of one was sheared off, but the binding is still secured to the ski.  A clever person can drill out the end of the screw and replace it with a new one.

This pair was rescued from sure destruction by a benevolent ski lover who reached out to the wood ski equivalent of an animal shelter to find a good home.  They are now looking for their "forever home" - maybe yours?
