You know how things start to get a bit saggy as they age? Well leather ski baskets are no different. After a few years (or decades) they have lost their spring. But we have a solution! We were lucky enough to happen across some BRAND NEW (old) leather/wicker ski baskets on our last trip to Finland. These are really beautiful, even if you just use them as a coffee mug coaster. They measure 14cm across, which is sort of a "touring" diameter, and have 3 leather straps criss-crossing that impressive girth. All you need is a pole and some snow!
