Sigmund Ruud was a top Norwegian ski jumper in the 1920s and 1930s. He won Olympic and world championship medals, but failed to get enough sponsorships to retire after competing. So he started a ski equipment company. Here are some very nice bamboo poles that his company made. White leather straps/handles and wicker/leather ring baskets.
