"Korpela" poles were common in Finland in the 1960s. This example features some pretty beefy 5 inch leather/wicker ring baskets, which will handle anything winter can throw at you. One of the pole tips has a chip missing out of it which makes the screw-in tip a little loose - this has been cleverly addressed by a dressing of copper wire.
