Järvinen of Lahti, Finland, was the premier manufacturer of cross-country skis in the country from the 1930s to the 1980s. This is a beautiful example of their poles from the 1960s. The baskets are interesting - plastic rings; this was during the transition from bamboo and leather ring baskets to all plastic baskets. And yes, they are NEW (old stock) - freshly installed on the poles and ready for action. Handles and straps are in really nice shape.
