These "no name" Finnish cross-country ski poles will fill you with American pride with their red, white, and blue leather baskets. No, I'm sure that has nothing to do with why the baskets are those colours, but it's pretty neat. The poles are in good shape, given their age - they likely hail from the late 1950s or early 1960s based on the materials used and how the handles and baskets are constructed. Normally Finnish poles of that era would have a branding on the inner pole strap, but hey, the straps on these bit the dust a while ago. The straps would need to be replaced if they were going to be used as ski poles going forward.
