Couldn't find much info on the "Korpela" brand - or at least that is how I read the marking on the straps. They hail from Finland, judging from the handles/straps and the fact that we bought them there...
These poles feature traditional 4.5 inch bamboo ring baskets and leather straps. The handles have been reinforced with hockey tape at some point, but this adds to the "patina" - Finns love hockey as much as skiing! Shafts beautifully refinished by the experts at Skifabrikk.
