Gresvig of Oslo made ski equipment for much of the 20th century, including cable-style bindings and ski poles such as these. Hailing from the 1960s and just brought back to USA this spring, this example features black leather handles and straps, bamboo shafts, and leather/plastic 4 inch ring baskets. One pole has a crack in it, which is very common with old bamboo poles. This has been addressed with the classic Norwegian pole fix - black electrical tape around the shaft. The tips have been "declawed" - meaning the screw-in metal tip for each pole is gone. That might make them a bit more floor-friendly when displayed indoors.
