Ski Museums
North America
- New England Ski Museum - North Conway and Franconia, NH. Two words: Hannes Schneider. Another two words: Bode Miller.
- Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum - Stowe. New England was the cradle of skiing in America and Vermont was at the center. See Bob Gray's Rex Gold Crowns that he used in Sapporo '72.
Norway
- Holmenkollen Ski Museum - Oslo/Holmenkollen, under the jump. Nice collection of racing skis, and most importantly, Oddvar's broken pole!
- Norsk Skieventyr - Mordegal. Peter Østbye's wax mixing pots!
- Rindal Ski Museum - near Trondheim. Rindal was the home to the legendary Landsem Ski Company. Superstar Magne Myrmo just donated his entire collection to the museum.
Finland
- Lahti Ski Museum - Lahti. Finnish ski history. At the Lahti stadium. When you're done take a high speed run down through the "j-bend" and see how you fare.
Down Under
- National Alpine Museum of Australia - Mt. Buller. Gnarly!
